Hand Carved Kakapo hand rail for our 90-year-old friend

Our long time friend Alice, at 90 has been struggling to get down the stairs to her garden and asked if I could create something to help. Instead of a hideous handrail that wouldn’t have fitted in with her garden or home, we decided on a kakapo we have named him GEORGE!!. The large body and shape of the bird means it is easy for her to grab and put her weight on. Thank you Alice for holding a wee celebration to welcome George The Kakapo.
